Flower Care
How can I make my flowers last longer? Certain varieties of cut flowers last longer than others. Carnations, for example, can remain vibrant for long periods. Roses
have a shorter vase life, but are prized for their special and delicate beauty. When buying flowers, be sure to ask your florist how long you should expect your
arrangement to last. Whatever variety you choose, a little TLC will go a long way to keep your blooms looking fresh longer. Here are a few handy tips that can help add days to their beauty!
Essentials for your flowers Keep them in a cool spot (65 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit; 18 to 22 degrees Celsius), away from direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, direct
drafts from a ceiling fan, and the tops of televisions or radiators. (Appliances like televisions give off heat, causing flowers to dehydrate.)
When your flowers arrive in wet foam Keep the floral foam soaked in water containing floral food provided by your florist.

I've been a loyal customer of Payne & Morrison for years and years. Mr. Payne recently sold the business and it's just not the same. The new owner is learning, and I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. But in the meantime I'm going to find another local florist (there are 3 or 4 in my neighborhood). I wish her good luck.

I have to say I found it really frustrating that I wanted to send my girlfriend some flowers for her Birthday. Her Husband had forgotten, I live out of state so I couldn't be there for her and I had already purchased her present, but I really wanted her to smile, and needless to say I didn't have $50.00 to spend after tax and delivery that seems to be the norm. So I looked at about 20 shops online I called this one and spoke to Deanna who was so KIND & FRIENDLY. She really has such a bubbely personality that is made everything WONDERFUL. I explained the situation to her and told her what it was that I liked about what I wanted but that it was out of my price range. After she listened to my story and what I was hoping to do she came up with a VERY HELPFUL SOLUTION for me. I felt such PERSONAL SERVICE from her it was as if I was standing right in frount of her. She went way behond what I expectied and even sent me text pictures of the things she was going to use to get my approval and one when the order was compleat to show me what was sent. Now I don't think that she does this on a regular bases but heard in my voice how important this was to me and SHE MADE IT IMPORTANT TO HER (that is how she made me feel). Now to he honest I was hoping for a store located closer (30 min away) to where I was sending it to minimise the delivery charge (15.00) but in my oppinion it was well worth it for the personalised service and from now on when I have a need to send my girlfirend flowers at work (she loves it and it makes her smile so I try to do it every now and then) I will be sending them to her from Payne and Morrison. I have every confidence that both mine and the recipients needs will be met with a delitful outcome. My girlfriend called me after getting the flowers laughing and crying. She said "you have no idea how much these made me smile!" I love the mug it is perfict and the balloon is awesome! THANK YOU DEANNA from the bottom of my heart for helping me to make my girlfriend smile on such short notice and for the AAA+ customer service! I have been using Payne and Morrison Florists for many, many years. They did my wedding flowers, which were absolutely perfect and beautiful and have made many other floral arrangements that I have sent to others. The flowers are always fresh, arranged with expertise, and bring a smile to those who recieve them. They are so friendly and helpful and the customer is always treated right. They are by far the best flower shop in the area! Give them a try, you won't be dissapointed!

I used Payne and Morrison for my wedding flowers and they were beautiful! The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. When I went in to place my order they were so helpful. I had ideas of the look I wanted and ideas for my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets and they designed exactly what I was looking for. I really appreciated them taking the time to ask what I wanted as the bride! I received so many compliments on the flowers...from the elegant orchids, to the flowers on the tables at the reception, to the cake flowers, too!! It all turned out how exactly how I had envisioned it.The flowers were delivered on time, too! Payne and Morrison definitely made this bride's day easier knowing my flowers were taken care of, and what bride doesn't want that! Thank you!! Exceptional service!
