About Newman Eye Center
The Newman Eye Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality eye care in a professional, caring and cost-effective manner. Our goals are vision correction, restoration and sight preservation. We provide services ranging from the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and glaucoma to in-house laser vision correction.

Dr. Newman accepts Medicare assignment. This means that Medicare agrees to pay us 80% of what they \"allow\". The remaining 20% will be either paid by you or by your secondary insurance. Medicare deductible is your responsibility. Refraction for glasses is not covered by Medicare. Feel free to call Debbie with any questions or problems you may have with your insurance.
Dr. Newman has a voice mail answering service for after hour emergencies. If you have an emergency after hours, call our office number to reach our 24 hour answering service.

Still seeing great after 10 years!

My eyes prior to Lasik- unable to swim underwater and limited with outdoor activities because of contacts or glasses. Now after 10 years I can see and do everything without any problems and without glasses or contacts. SP

PRK was the best decision I've ever made! I've always hated having to deal with glasses and contacts, and the headaches I got from the astigmatism were terrible. Now, I can see perfectly, and the surgery was painless! J.S.Schultz

Prior to the Lasik surgery I had to wear contacts or glasses to participate in outdoor activities (hunting, fishing, etc.). Without them my world was blurred. Since having the surgery I no longer need them and my distance vision is completely clear without glasses or contacts. Prior to the surgery the entire process (before, during and after) was explained in detail and proved to be completely accurate. I am completely satisfied with the procedure, Dr. Newman and his Staff! I would do it again. Gary R. Maschner

I had no vision in my right eye as the result of a very bad cataract. Dr. Newman performed a miracle! I never thought I'd ever see again in that eye. I would say Dr. Newman and staff are the best there is! Sincerely, David G. Graziani

Dr. Newman has been my ophthalmologist since 1993. He's taken care of all my needs with care and attention. If I have a concern he goes the extra mile to find the problem. He isn't one of those Dr.'s that says it's nothing and hurries you out of his office. In addition he has the latest technology so no stone is left unturned. Dr. Newman also performed RK on me in the mid '90s. When I began to have trouble reading in 2003 he performed lasik in one eye to give me the ability to read again without reading glasses. Unlike other clinics he doesn't hurry the process and does it right the first time. He also makes it clear he's available 24 hours a day after the procedure if the need arises to contact him. Every friend I've recommended for lasik has been completely satisfied with the results. He's a Dr. that can handle almost all of your families eye care needs, with a caring staff and convenient location. Gary Resnick RPh
