Lasers in Dentistry: Just Add Water!
The Waterlase is the most significant technological advance in dentistry. The Waterlase YSGG technology uses a unique combination of laser energy and water to perform dental procedures without the use of a drill, and often without the need for local anesthetic.

The Waterlase can be used to treat the teeth, gums and jawbone, for a wide variety of problems, including cosmetic improvements of the gums. In addition it eliminates the vibration and noise of the drill, and has pinpoint accuracy, and it causes little or no bleeding.

The Waterlase benefits to you are numerous. It allows a more advanced level of care, with fewer problems than can occur with more conventional dental treatment.

Dr. John W. Dovgan has been in private practice since 1989 at his current location. Dr. Dovgan is in the top 1% of solo dental practitioners nationwide. Dr. Dovgan also serves as a consultant to the Arizona State Board of Dental Examiners and as a consultant to several dental companies. Dr. Dovgan has given live lectures and laser demonstrations to fellow valley dentists and has multiple Lasers, including a Waterlase Laser, a Diolase Laser and a Diagnodent Laser.
