Description:

The Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum displays more than 3,000 minerals, fossils, and mining artifacts, highlighted by colorful minerals from the state’s copper mines. Located two blocks east of the state capital, the museum displays a mine head frame and an 1882 baby-gauge steam locomotive on its grounds.

Hours of Operation:

Open Mon. – Fri. 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Sat. 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; Closed Sun.

Adults $2; Children 17 and under are free.
