Description:

Phoenix International Raceway is a one-mile, tri-oval automobile racing track that hosts NASCAR Nextel Cup, Busch Series, and Craftsman Truck Series races in April and November. Opened in 1960, the track also hosted Indy style racing until 2005. It is located on Avondale Boulevard south of Southern Avenue.
