Themed galleries exploring subjects like gravity, electricity, motion and the human body fill the Arizona Science Center, offering more than 300 permanent, hands-on activities. Beyond its permanent and temporary displays, the museum also holds the Dorrance Planetarium and an IMAX Theater, showing special educational and just-for-fun films. Located in the heart of the city, the museum is near Heritage Square Park, the Phoenix Civic Plaza and Chase Field.
