Holding two 18-hole courses designed by two of the nation's most prominent designers, the Wildfire Golf Club offers a golfing experience that rivals some of the top courses in the nation. The Palmer Signature Course is the longer of the two, with a 7,145-yard play and numerous rolling hills that add challenge to even straightforward-seeming shots. Slightly shorter at 6,846 yards, the Faldo Championship Course has similarly wide fairways but abundant sand hazards that complicate the game. Set aside from the concrete and bustle of the city, the club is part of the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort on the far northern edge of the metro area, close to the Desert Ridge Marketplace.
